So what's coming up...........The program committee is hosting a Makeover Night on March 16th at
Nancy Broderick's house. The program is full but there is a waiting list
for possible last minute cancellations. On March 29, the Membership
Committee is hosting a new
member wine and cheese at Audrey Gavin's house. If you have just
joined this year and haven't gotten to many events, plan on attending!!!
It will be a great way to connect with other members who have just recently
joined. Plus you can find out how to get involved in the
Road Race which is shaping up very well. On April 6th, the Food and
Wine committee is hosting a cooking
demonstration with Connie Spiros. Call early, this is
always a very popular event! And finally, on April 11th, the Book Club
will be discussing The Good
Earth.

your mothers, sisters, friends or neighbors. Let's show our support that
day. It should be a great time! LOOK FOR MORE DETAILS IN

Many thanks to all who made donations to our Cradles to Crayons Drive
and to the many Moms and kids who participated in our volunteer morning.
We will once again be gathering toiletries (soap, lotions, shampoo, etc.) to make Mother's Day Gift Bags for women of the Milton Food Pantry. Please ensure that items do not have hotel logo's. Donations can be dropped off with Liz Papile or Meg Kaster at or any MJWC event. Thank you for your support.
Kimberly Zieselman will be coordinating meals for those who have given birth or who have experienced an illness or crisis in their family. Please contact Kimberly if you are interested in cooking or receiving meals.

The
popularity of the Knitting Club is growing. In addition to the monthly

Come join us for a cup-a or just stop by to get help on any problems you might
be having with your knitting project. This is also a great way to
introduce a friend to the MJWC. If anyone has any questions about the
club, we would be happy to talk with them.

We have begun another Spring Preschool Story Hour in March. The dates are as follows:
March 7 - April 25, 2006. The
kids are already having a ball. Tammy
Vyas, Jennifer Wood and I have been the coordinators of the Preschool Story now
for the past 5 years and although we have enjoyed it immeasurably, we need to
pass on the baton for this coming Fall season.
Anyone that is interested in taking
it on and adding their own touches will be gratefully appreciated. We
have done everything for you. There are two years of lessons plans (Know
as "Year A" and Year B"). There is no heavy lifting for
the next people that take it on. We will provide you with everything you
need to know. Our kids LOVED it and children often remark
how it is "their school."
Please consider this as an opportunity to expand the program and support the
Town of Milton in giving our children and great start in their early education.
Feel Free to contact: Elaine or Tammy.
