THE BLUEVIEW

A Letter from the President

Dear Friends,

Thank you to Susan Collins and Arian Foster for a well planned and well executed program night at Mellie’s Salon.  There was a lot of excitement that evening as we all learned how to blow dry like a professional.  Susan was also our hostess for the Business Meeting this month, and I thank her for that as well.

Milton Green Day was this past weekend.  Thank you to all of our members that took part in beautifying our town.

The Milton Road Race is coming up fast.  Outback Steakhouse and Breuggar’s are only two businesses providing the food.  We are hoping that all on lookers and runners will be drawn to Cunningham Park for the festivities.  We appreciate the support of all the town organizations that have offered financial and product support.  I ask that each of you mention this generosity whenever you patronize one of our supporters.  Remember, to make this event successful, we need the help of each club member.  Please contact the Road Race Committee if you haven't already!

The planning for closing dinner is under way.  We have not finalized our plans as of the writing of this letter.  We anticipate the dinner to be held the third week of June with a specific date and location to be sent in a separate invitation.  All members are invited to attend this fun event.  The cocktail hour was a well-received addition to the opening dinner.  We hope to do that again this time.  It is my hope that a cocktail hour will enable more members to come out and socialize, even if a full night out is just too much with all the demands that this time of year brings us.

There is still a lot to do within the club!  To find out what else is going on this month and next, please read the newsletter or visit our website at http://www.miltonjuniorwomansclub.com and click on calendar.

Fondly,

Eve Nightingale
