Dear
Friends,
It's hard to believe the Holidays
are already upon us. I hope that in between the madness of shopping and
decorating, you will be able to take some time out to attend our Annual
Special thanks go out to Susanna
Ryan who helped those of us who are craft challenged (and those who are not)
create beautiful wreaths for the holidays. They were truly grand!
Thanks also to Susan Collins and Ariane Foster from the Programs
Committee for organizing. What a great first event for
them! Attendance was high thanks to use of the Woman's
Clubhouse which was the perfect venue for this event. And it was
great to see so many new faces! And if you couldn't attend, Susanna is
making additional wreaths which will be sold at the Collicot Craft Fair on
Saturday, December 3rd!
There is no
scheduled business meeting for December. However, we still
have a few events planned. On December
7th, the Book Club will be meeting to discuss The Time Traveler's Wife.
On December 10th,
our Holiday Movie, which has been changed to The Life and Adventures of Santa Claus, will
be held at 3 pm at the Woman's Club at
Looking ahead, the annual
meeting will be held on Tuesday, January 3rd at the Woman's Club.
I would like everyone to attend this meeting. It is a great
opportunity to learn more about the club, find out how to become more involved,
and just socialize with friends.
I wish you all a very joyful
holiday season and a happy new year!
Laura
P.S. There was a Larry Levine size
6 coat found at the wreath-decorating program.
If it belongs to you, please give me call.
